Győző Bihon was born in 1959 in Nyíregyháza. Between 1988 and 1994, he was a member of the Studio of Young Artists, and since 1989, he has been a member of the Hungarian Association of Fine Artists, as well as a member of the Hungarian Painters’ Association since 2008.
He pursued studies at the following higher education institutions:
1979-1983 Bessenyei György Teacher Training College in Nyíregyháza
1984-1986 Hungarian University of Fine Arts (evening classes) in Budapest
1988 Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna
