Dávid Szoboszlai

Szoboszlai Dávid, the "BRONZE SCULPTOR" "The decision to become an artist was made when I was 8 years old, on a summer afternoon at 3:30, sitting on the porch of my great-grandparents' house." From a young age, he received artistic education. During his high school years, he learned the basics of goldsmithing and industrial arts. His studies have always been diverse, but from the first year of high school, one subject became the alpha and omega of everything: sculpture. He applied to the University of Fine Arts for the metalworking design program, but he also attended all courses related to design (furniture design, industrial design). He mostly draws inspiration for his subjects from the animal world or creatures related to animals (for example, the Dragon, a mythical being with animal-like external features). His sculptures differ from naturalistic representations (he uses naturalistic depictions for analysis) because, for him, the most important thing is capturing and conveying the essence of the model as accurately as possible, and the presentation follows this approach. His primary material choice is bronze.
